THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME

Bartending; we all love creating cocktails. Using different ingredients to create something new and exciting, though the recent trend of not only using an ingredient once, but multiple times to create different syrup and infusions really excited me as it tests creativity. “Okay, you have juiced this lime - now what can you do with the husk?”

I was inspired to create a very simple cocktail that uses parts of ingredients that you normally wouldn’t use in traditional cocktails. Keeping the flavours layering with the strong earthy notes of Knob Creek Rye.
