THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME

A toast to Sussex by the sea... my place of birth and childhood home.

This is a quintessential summer in a teacup.

The smell of kelp often rolls in off the sea towards the Sussex downs, whilst wild raspberries are picked on country walks along the coast.

Of course, what is more British than Gin? Tea! Tea is always the first and last drink of the day. Evenings are of course the time for Sipsmith Gin and Sipsmith Summer.

A mix of Sipsmith Gin, Sipsmith London Cup, English tea, raspberries and Kelp is The Sussex by the Tea. A toast to Sussex by the Sea.
