15ml Bacon fat washed maple syrup, infused with lapsang & black pepper
2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME
The Kentucky Fried Canadian evokes feelings of nostalgia from when I was studying, where weekends were usually spent around a fire drinking bourbon, represented with the smokiness from the Lapsang and bacon. Maple syrup and bacon were also a staple part of our diet, hence they've both been incorporated into this smooth cocktail.
