THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME

Wendy's Whey is a toast to tradition... In particular, intergenerational family recipes and the part they play in celebration and legacy.

Nothing speaks to this sentiment more than the honour, tradition and ceremony of The Christmas Pudding...

It's a big deal to be the caretaker of THE recipe - To prepare and hang it, sometimes years in advance - To perfect it in time, and then pass it on to the next generation to reinterpret and hopefully re-affirm its place in the heart of tradition, family and celebration.

In our family, for as long as I can remember, the honour of that task was firmly held by my Nanna Wendy...

Her recipe and the importance of family and tradition live on in this drink and are mirrored in the strong family traditions and recipe of its hero spirit and its flavour profile.

Dark fruits, caramel, cinnamon and white pepper dance with brandy custard whey and bright candied citrus notes - This is a bright, light and fresh interpretation that looks towards new traditions and techniques as inspiration.
