THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME

I was recently in Bali wandering the markets when I came across a local tincture. This cocktail is inspired by Jamu - a balinese health tonic. It originally is used as medicine said to purify the blood, detox the liver and fight off bacteria. What a healthy ""drink"". This is made from whole ginger, whole tumeric, black pepper and coconut sugar (all organic).

I spend the rest of the trip walking down to the markets before going out surfing in Changu, feeling rehydrated and fresh for the day. It got me thinking (as I was enjoying the nightlife every night) why am I having Bintangs/ sugary drinks rather than mixing with things that made me feel great!

So here we have it, a liver tonic mixed with a London gin to enhance the original use of gin-medicine. The Bright yellow drink shines health and sunshine.
