THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME

Japanese Shinto has strong beliefs regarding the worship of nature and the relationship between Shinto and the mountains is a crucial one. The mountains and the spring water from them is sacred, as it's believed to be the source of life for all living things. With the world having industrialised, we have lost our affinity with nature and have reached that moment in time where we crave to connect with it once again.

Kokedama Workshop

Tiny's

For promotion, I’ve done a website at www.luckofthemountain.com.au which details my cocktail background and ingredients as well as where and when to find the drink.

I’ve also done a collaboration event with Coastal Eden- where we will celebrate the cocktail launch as well as get our hands dirty making kokedamas which is a type of Japanese moss ball plant to get us reconnecting with nature.

I’ve also done mini coasters/discs with a design for the drink which I’ll take a photo of tonight. They’ll be given out at the event and also with the purchase of the drink. Again they circle back to nature as they’re made of seeded paper and are plantable. They contain swan river daisy seeds.
