THE STORY BEHIND THE COCKTAIL NAME

My toast goes to Perth and my little crazy family I found here. I came to this city in a desire to change my life, but not knowing what to expect. In my wildest dreams I couldn’t imagine that I’d ever be a part of this amazing little team at Caballitos. They are my home away from home and they always support me and push me to achieve my goals. As a courtesy to my little Perth family, I created a spicy pineapple cocktail with Laphroaig. The whiskey reminded me a lot of mezcal, which is a typical spirit for our bar. Mezcal is something I had to get used to, but really enjoy by now, and it helped me understand whiskey better as well.
